First, I would like to welcome all the clients from John P Carmichael, PC (JPC) to the Cruise & Associates (C&A) family. As you may or may not know, we completed the merger of JPC into C&A on August 1st.   We are excited to have both John Carmichael and Russell Ratzlow join the C&A team! They bring many years of experience with them and will be a great asset going forward.

Second, Rob’s 3rd rule of business is, “You are either moving forward in business or backward. There’s no such thing as staying the same.” The Lincoln merger was a perfect opportunity to move our business forward and take it to the next level.   For several years, C&A has had clients in Lincoln but have always felt limited by our ability to grow and expand in the Lincoln market and at the same time, we want to make sure our clients are served properly.   So this is a great example of a business that is moving forward and not backward.

Now, I’m not saying every business needs to go out and add another location because it’s not a good fit for everyone. However, each business owner should spend one hour each day working to grow their business. Working on a new marketing campaign or a program that encourages existing clients to come back a little more often are just a few ideas. I’ve been working on this, myself, and have seen results for about 15 years. I can honestly say that it is the best one-hour investment that I make each day.
